These terms govern your use of www.suboth.com (the “Site”), the personal portfolio and blog of Suboth Ragunathan, Sri Lanka (“I”, “me”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

How personal data is handled is explained separately in the Privacy Policy.

You’re welcome to browse, read, link to and share pages from the Site. Please don’t:

• attempt to access the private admin area, its APIs or anyone's account;
• probe, scan or test the Site for vulnerabilities without permission (responsible reports are welcome by email);
• overload the Site with automated traffic, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for others (normal search and AI crawling permitted by robots.txt is fine);
• use the Site to distribute malware, spam or unlawful content;
• misrepresent who built the projects shown, or imply an endorsement that doesn't exist.

The Site’s design, code, text, articles, graphics and branding are © Suboth Ragunathan unless stated otherwise. All rights are reserved except as set out below.

• Quoting. You may quote short excerpts of articles and case studies with clear attribution and a link to the original page.
• Code snippets published in blog articles may be used in your own projects, free of charge and without warranty. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
• Not allowed without written permission: republishing whole articles, copying the Site’s design or layout, or reusing its text or images as your own.
• Client work. Project names, logos, screenshots and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear only to document work I delivered. Their inclusion does not transfer any rights to you.

Articles, case studies and other content are general information shared in good faith, based on my experience at the time of writing. They are not legal, financial, security or other professional advice for your specific situation, and technology changes quickly — check publication dates and test anything before relying on it in production. Performance figures such as PageSpeed scores reflect measurements on the date shown and may change.

Descriptions of services, availability and indicative rates on the Site are information, not a binding offer. Any engagement — scope, price, timeline, ownership of deliverables and confidentiality — is agreed separately in writing between us, and that agreement takes precedence over anything on the Site.

The Site publishes /llms.txt and related files so AI assistants and search engines can describe my work accurately. You and automated systems may index, summarise and cite this content, provided summaries are attributed to Suboth Ragunathan with a link to the Site and don’t misrepresent the facts. The “Ask me on” buttons open third-party AI services that are governed by their own terms.

The Site links to client projects, social profiles, AI assistants and other websites I don’t control. I’m not responsible for their content, availability or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

I aim to keep the Site available and accurate but may change, pause or remove any part of it — including articles and case studies — at any time, without notice. Maintenance or outages may occasionally make the Site unavailable.

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over disputes. If you are a consumer, you also keep any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.

I may update these terms when the Site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version, every change is listed in the version history below, and continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the new version. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
